When you need to talk, I’m here to listen.
Welcome! I’m Dan, a dedicated and compassionate therapist with a unique background as a military veteran and first responder. My experience has instilled in me a deep understanding of the profound challenges faced by individuals who have experienced trauma, crisis, and loss. This has fueled my passion for helping others navigate their own paths to healing and resilience. It’s not easy, but I’ve seen it work!
With specialized training and experience in treating PTSD, crisis intervention, and suicide prevention, I am committed to providing a safe and supportive environment for those I work with. My approach is grounded in empathy, respect, and evidence-based practices, ensuring that each person receives personalized care tailored to their unique needs. Whether you are dealing with the aftermath of traumatic events, navigating a personal crisis, or seeking support in times of emotional distress, I am here to walk alongside you on your journey to healing.
I hold an MSW from Fordham University and am a licensed clinical and forensic social worker. My professional experience spans across various settings, including the Department of Veterans Affairs and Fordham Law School’s Immigrant Rights Clinic, where I worked with diverse populations to address complex mental health needs.
In addition to my clinical work, I am actively involved in community outreach and education to raise awareness about mental health issues and advocate for the well-being of those affected by trauma and crisis.
